So this week's post is a little off-topic and mostly a curiosity type post.
I'm currently looking for a new place to live. I love the downtown area and would love to stay around there. But I'm noticing that the places that i really like are little more expensive than I'm willing to pay. Not because i don't think they're worth it... More because I know that i can find comparable places in other great areas for less. Outside of Living in the immediate downtown area, I also wouldn't mind being in the East town or even the West Side / Walker areas.
The biggest issues I'm having in this are the parameters for which I'm looking. One, I would like to have a place that is good for kids, in both the actual place and the neighborhood it sits in. Two, I like to have my easy commute to work that right now is easy on-easy off of the Hi-Way. Third, My girlfriend does not currently have a car, and transportation for her to and from work would largely depend on the bus lines.
I guess I'm asking if anyone has any good or great suggestions on places that are either available for rent, or for sale at reasonable prices?
